Stetson Jeff returns to the United States in pursuit of the mysterious A.S.P. The gang turns out to be more dangerous than even Stetson Jeff could imagine, so he flees Philadelphia and finds refuge among the Amish in Paradise, Pennsylvania. More kickboxing, bad guys and low-speed chases ensue (think forklift vs. horse and buggy). With a nod to Harrison Ford's "The Witness" and plenty of other 80s tropes, Stetson Jeff, now changing hats as often as an Amish family goes to church, is in serious trouble, but he'll find his way through.

Il titolo deriva il concetto dal primo racconto, ma ben si adatta alla filosofia dell'autore, la cui ironia non risparmia nessun luogo o personaggio sacro. Un'ironia tuttavia sempre elegante e rispettosa delle convinzioni altrui: basta che vi sia sufficiente "sense of humor". Paradise is supposed to be a short-term stop. Until Thor shows up. Okay, not the real Thor. But replace the hammer with a dog who won't stop barking, and Adam Thomsen is definitely long-haired Thor's doppelganger. Too bad for me, he's decided I'm the villain in his story. Too bad for him, his scowl is no match for my super-powered positivity.
