Twenty-five year old Calla Williams is struggling since becoming guardian to her brother, Jamie. Calla is overwhelmed and tired of being the one who makes sacrifices to keep the family together. When Jamie’s actions at a protest spiral out of control, the siblings must go on the run. The Screaming Skull is a 1958 independently made American black-and-white horror film, produced by John Kneubuhl and directed by Alex Nicol (in his directorial debut), starring John Hudson, Peggy Webber, Russ Conway, Tony Johnson, and Nicol. The film's storyline concerns a newly-married couple, Eric and Jenni, who arrive at the home of Eric's first wife, where the gardens have been maintained by a gardener faithful to the dead woman's memory. Soon, eerie events lead Jenni to think she's losing her mind being haunted by the ghost of her new husband's previous wife.
