Niklas, Anfang 30, gerade arbeitslos geworden und irgendwie entwurzelt, entscheidet sich für eine Auszeit in Andalusien. Zuerst besucht Niklas den alten Mann hin und wieder, dann hilft er ihm täglich einige Stunden bei der Gartenarbeit. Dabei lernt Niklas nicht nur etwas über den Anbau von Tomaten, sondern vor allem etwas über Gelassenheit und Achtsamkeit.
