An uplifting comedy drama about the life, loves and misadventures of wheelchair user Maz. Nicknamed Tinsel Girl by her best friend Lisa because of her sparkly view of life, wheelchair user Maz is one of life's eternal optimists. She has just turned 30, only to become all too aware that not only is she single but also disabled. Her degenerative disease means she now has to use a motorised wheelchair, which isn't exactly the sexiest accessory a girl can have!

The story opens in the country parsonage of Dr. Primrose, a kindly man who has a good heart, a good family, and a good income. Suddenly, his idyllic life is cruelly devastated by a series of misfortunes, and he ends up in prison. Yet, despite all this calamity and injustice, the vicar never loses sight of Christian morality, a conviction which lends him genuine nobility and, in the end, also brings justice and the restoration of his family and fortune.

Lou's Uncle Mike is running for Mayor of North Hollywood. They talk about Uncle Mike's political career. Lou gives Susan a present. She gives Lou a kiss. Bud gives Lou advice on how to propose to a girl. Lou wants to be a T­ Man. Abbott and Costello go to the Blue Goose Cafe. Lou tries to pick up a lady. Lou gets in a card game.

Abbott and Costello talk about Uncle Mike and Aunt May, who have adopted a baby grown man. Uncle Mike is looking for a job. Lou talks about the book, where he records all his dates and gets into a fight with the boyfriend of Zelda Zanzibar. Lou has invented Pedestrian Pants to trap hit-and-run drivers.

Lou wants to sing a duet with Susan. Abbott and Costello talk about where they are going on their vacation. Lou asks for some aspirin. Bud won't get any for him. Matty won't. The cast won't either. A kid in the audience says he will. It breaks up the audience. Then the boys go to a travel bureau. They take a boat trip where they are left on an island. They run into cannibals.

Lou has a cold. Bud thinks something is wrong with Lou. Lou insults Mrs. Abbott. She gives Lou some pills to take. They are mothballs. Bud says Lou does not know how to handle women. Bud says Lou needs more vitamins. Bud takes Lou to a psychiatrist. Bud takes Lou to a rest home.

Abbott and Costello talk about Lou's family. They have been making a living on the radio for the last 10 years. Bud says Lou should invest his money. Lou tries to get a data with Veola.

Costello plans to build a new house, but first he has to buy a lot.

Lou can't sleep at night. Bud and Lou talk about universal military training. Bud tells Lou to propose to Susan, but Lou needs money. Susan wants a lifeguard for a husband. Lou decides to learn to be a lifeguard. He takes swimming lessons from a lady named Olive and is able to land a job as a lifeguard.

Lou is planning to throw a Christmas party, but no one wants to come....

Abbott and Costello discuss the bees on the farm of Lou's uncle.

Mrs. Beanbag is suing Costello for shooting at her. He tries to settle for 50 cents, but Abbott hires Mr. Kitzel, the lawyer, to defend Costello....

Bud and Lou talk about Lou's date. They talk about Lou being in the hospital. Lou buys his uncle Mike a television. Lou says baseball season is over. They say California is the only state that has Daylight Saving Time.

Abbott and Costello talk about Lou going out with women other then Marilyn Williams. Lou has a job with an orchestra. Bud says Marilyn is from England. The duo talks about the new picture, where Lou plays a plunger.

Bud encourages Lou to ask Marilyn to marry him. She turns him down. Abbott and Costello try to think of a way to win her back. Bud suggests that Lou get his name in the paper. Bud takes Lou to a publicity man. He is going to have Lou fly around the world in a jet. Lou flies from Los Angeles to Glendale in 67 hours.

Every time Lou hears a lie, he hears a horn. Bud feels Lou ought to have a will and hires a lawyer to write one; anything to get that $28 from Lou.

Costello wants to join the circus. Abbott loses his place in the script.

The opening routine is about leap year and Costello's romance. He's against marriage. Will Costello marry guest Judy Canova?

Abbott teaches Costello to flee the flu! A visit to Peter Lorre's sanitarium...at midnight!
