There are so many podcasts in the world and not enough time to listen to them. Some sound professionally made, some sound like a hot mess, and some just sound made up. On Made Up Talk Show Jessica Coyle and Richard Krysztoforski highlight these less listened to podcasts, but here's the catch...These podcasts don't exist! Instead, they serve as the suggestion for an improv show, and are brought to life in the editing room to make the improvised podcast sound as real as possible. Each guest brings with them a new idea, and with that, a new fully improvised podcast is born.

Totally Made Up Tales is improvised storytelling for the Internet. We record completely new stories without any advance planning, assembled into episodes of sinister, touching and whimsical tales for the discerning listener. In early 2020, Adam McKay set out to make a comedy. It was called Don’t Look Up, and it was meant to make fun of, and point to, the forces stopping us from saving ourselves from climate change. 2020, of course, had other plans. This is what happened when a cast and crew came together to make a disaster comedy, while living through a series of very uncomedic disasters.
