As a diagnostic radiologist who has watched patients, friends, and family suffer with and die from cancer - and who was deeply affected by the enraged husband of one particular patient - Dr. Margaret I. Cuomo has been inspired to seek out new strategies for waging a smarter war on cancer. About 1.6 million new cases of cancer are diagnosed a year, and more than 1,500 people die each day. We’ve been asked to accept the disappointing strategy to “manage cancer as a chronic disease.”

The world is full of osteopaths and it is a profession that is well established in Europe, USA, Australia, New Zealand etc. except Canada. In Canada, the osteopath profession is in its infant stage and is not well known to the public so my target audience will be the general public to offer a source of education. The target guest will be both the practicing osteopaths here in Canada as well as practicing osteopaths around the world who will help us to shape the development and establishment of osteopathy here in Canada.
