Kelly, Darbie und Hannah finden ein geheimnisvolles Kochbuch von Kellys Grandma. Die nötigen Zutaten hat Mama P. in ihrem ungewöhnlichen Lebensmittelladen. Durch eine sogenannte "Stillschweige-Torte" verliert Buddy seine Sprache, bis Kelly sich bei ihm entschuldigt. Die Rezepte haben also gute wie schlechte Seiten. Werden die Mädchen auch den Zauber, der über Kellys Oma verhängt wurde, brechen?

Um Grandma zu retten, kochen Kelly und ihre Freundinnen die "Fotografische Gedächtnissuppe". Man kann damit in die Vergangenheit blicken, vergisst aber die Gegenwart. Dann taucht das Foto eines Jungen namens Chuck auf. Es stellt sich heraus, dass er eine Rolle im Leben aller drei "alten Damen" gespielt hat. Chuck war Gina Silvers erste Liebe, aber er war an Rebecca, Kellys Grandma, interessiert.

Zusammen mit Jake, gelingt es Hannah, Darbie zu befreien. Als Kelly endlich erkennt, dass Mama P. nie vorhatte, ihr zu helfen, ihre Grandma zu retten, ist es bereits zu spät - ganz Saffron Falls erstarrt. Nun sind die drei Mädchen, die dank eines Schutz-Shakes verschont bleiben, die Einzigen, die die Stadt und Kellys Grandma retten können. Doch auch das hat Konsequenzen...

Kelly und Hannah haben Darbies Geburtstag vergessen. Beim Backen für Darbies Geburtstagsüberraschung, verwenden die beiden versehentlich magische Kakaokrümel und als sie von den fertigen Keksen essen, verhalten sie sich plötzlich wie Kleinkinder. Darbie muss nun für ihre Freundinnen den Babysitter spielen. Ob es ihr gelingt, etwas zu finden, das den Zauber bricht?
