In 1967, a small town in Missouri was struck by violence when the town drifter was shot dead while supposedly assaulting a young girl. Through court documents, historical recordings and current interviews, investigative reporter Vera Bernstein and her producer Justin Kartsen dig in to get to the bottom of what really happened that October night in 1967.
