A boy discovers a book all about extreme weather lying in his driveway. He begins to browse the section on rainstorms. Suddenly clouds roll in and rain pours out. But some unexpected showers are nothing compared to when the boy’s little brother takes a peek at the tornado chapter! As terrible twisters touch down, the brothers will need help from the mighty Librarian to calm the book’s curse and bring back blue skies.

Dominic's family is house hunting, and he is not excited about the prospect of moving. Still, when the family of three looks at a large Victorian home, Dominic is intrigued and starts to explore it on his own. Before long, he meets what can only be described as a ghost!

This is the second story in the Anne of Green Gables series. Skinny little red-haired Anne has changed into a pretty 16-year-old and is all grown up - well, sort of grown up. The story opens with Anne as a school teacher at Avonlea school. When Anne reached the school that first morning, she was confronted by prim rows of "shining morning faces". She had sat up until nearly midnight composing a speech which she had revised and improved painstakingly. It was a wonderful speech with fine ideas. And then, she couldn't remember it!
