Callie is at an October keg party in the woods, when she notices that her friend Katherine has gone missing. The kids spread out to look for her and Callie finds her, lying on a path, with a big, bloody fake knife in her. She reaches for the knife and raises it, only to discover, to her horror, that it is real. At that moment, another of the search party stumbles on them, and takes a photo of Callie holding the bloody knife. Now she is the suspect in a grisly murder. How can she prove her innocence - and find the true murderer?

One of Veronica’s high school teachers is crippled by the fact that his dead daughter has never returned as a ghost, and he’s haunted by the possibility that she’s waiting to reappear within a fresh body. Olga Gay Worontzoff left the Underworld for her final year of high school anxious for things to return to normal, but fate has other plans. The new hottie at school reads her thoughts but nobody else's. Her best friend wakes up from his coma acting like a completely different person. Caught in a world that's a mix of familiar and supernatural, she must confront what she will - or won't - do to bring him back and stare down her own perceived inadequacies to face a couple of tenacious demons, figurative and literal.

Since their parents' divorce, 16-year-old Rig and his sister, Karma, have drifted apart. Now she is in college - too busy to even return Rig's calls. So one day he Googles her and discovers a website "shrine" filled with photos of his sister. His mother thinks it's romantic, but Rig finds the whole thing creepy; and much to his surprise, his judgmental, estranged father shares Rig's concerns. Together, they fly out to Karma's college to investigate. The website grows increasingly disturbing, with voyeuristic photos and angry rants. Then Rig is attacked at knifepoint.
