Larry S. Sherman, a neuroscientist and lifelong musician, and Dennis Plies, a professional musician and teacher, collaborate to show how our brains and music work in harmony. In this piano by ear lesson, you will learn a jazz solo arrangement of “I Need Thee Every Hour”. The lesson starts with a full demonstration of the arrangement followed by a detailed all-audio lesson teaching the song in two to four measure sections. There is no print, music, or video to use.

A full demonstration of the Intermediate level arrangement is given at the beginning of the lesson followed by a detailed “by ear” lesson of the song taught in two to four measure sections. Backing tracks without the piano on them are given at the end of the lesson for you to perform with once you have learned the song.
