Whether or not we like to admit it, pop culture is a lens through which we alternately view and shape the world around us. When it comes to feminism, pop culture aids us in translating feminist philosophies, issues, and concepts into everyday language, making them relevant and relatable. In Feminism and Pop Culture, author and cofounder of Bitch magazine Andi Zeisler traces the impact of feminism on pop culture (and vice versa) from the 1940s to the present and beyond.

For me the most interesting man in the world was always my pops. Rock-n-roll through and through, he was a hippie New York city cab driver, then one of the first 10 employees of Ticketmaster, started a competing company that put that Ticketmaster out of business, sold the business to Ticketmaster and retired to Hawaii at 50. He is a dude with countless unbelievable stories, has lived a fascinating life and just a super interesting human. As he entered the 80th year of his life, I wanted to sit down and conduct a series of interviews with him. Welcome to Tuesdays with Pops.
