Matt und Aruula sind in Paris von den kriegerischen Méros gefangengenommen worden. Doch als sie von ihren Feinden tief in die U-Bahn-Katakomben geführt werden, gibt es eine Überraschung. Sie treffen auf Hank Williams, der ebenfalls dort unten festgehalten wird. Doch ein Entkommen erscheint unmöglich.

Matthew Drax und Aruula kommen auf der Suche nach Hank Williams in Paris an. Matt ist erschüttert, als er erkennt, dass von der einst so schönen Stadt nur noch Ruinen übrig sind. Doch es kommt noch schlimmer. Denn schon kurz nach ihrer Ankunft werden Matt und Aruula von einem Feind angegriffen, mit dem sie es noch nie zu tun hatten.

A satirical tall tale presented as the drug and alcohol fuelled conversation of two old friends getting reacquainted over one night. It's also a boy-meets-girl story of the worst kind and a time-travel story about a future where the world is ruled by robots and humans are vermin. When timelines cross, the world as we know it bends.
