A long legacy of cessationism has drained Pentecost of much of its significance, and it's largely misunderstood in many Western churches today, if not outright ignored. That's not the case in Emilio Alvarez's tradition, though. The beginning of sanctification started with a slow but radical transformation and pursuing of my heart. He loves so deeply and is so patient and kind that He does leave the 99 for the 1. I am the 1, but so are you, sis! Here, you can expect encouragement to continue to run this race of life with endurance - whether by hearing someone's beautiful testimony or feasting on just a minute of mana. In this busy season of motherhood, we need Him now more than ever!
