Salt and pepper shakers are products that need to have a simple design. You don't want to add too much seasoning to your food, and the shakers should not get clogged or be built in a way that’s hard to use. That's how we approach developing design products: "How can we give designers the essential tools without overdoing it?" We listen to the design community and tackle the most evident pain points. And you know what? We discuss those very pains in our podcast. Featuring Natalie and Louise from the Icons8 team as they dive into the topics that matter to us and fellow designers.

We are three guys with years of stories and insight about what its like to work in the restaurant industry. Any one who's worked in service is familiar with the random and unforgettably hilarious conversations in between taking tables and after close, over a pile of napkins and a bucket of silver ware. On this podcast we talk about what its like to wear the apron, and we bring it to you like we're just talkin' by the walk-in.

Remember those great Atari 2600 games? I have fond memories of playing classics like Pitfall or Yar's Revenge or River Raid. In this podcast, I take another look at the games, but as a writer, not a gamer. When I think of these games now, I see writing prompts; taking inspiration from the game plots or maybe even the titles to create original short stories. But this isn't simply fan fiction. The stories, more often than not, spin-off into some weird places in all kinds of genres. Sometimes funny, occasionally serious, always unique.

As a kid, it was a good Saturday afternoon if I had a bowl of Cheetos and a collection of Peanuts comic strips in front of me. Charlie Brown and the gang were friends to me. (I especially identified with Linus.) I really liked the week-long story arcs and the brilliant mix of humor, frustration and perseverance of these lil' folks. And, honestly, I'm a little sad Shermie never took off as a main character. Animated Peanuts was great too. The airing of a Peanuts TV special was a big event in my house. I was pretty young, but I remember seeing RACE FOR YOUR LIFE, CHARLIE BROWN in 1977 in a movie...
