Chtělo by se říct, že Nikdo Owens (v originále Nobody Owens), známý jako Nik, je normální kluk. Je to ale pravda jen napůl. Jeho domovem je po tragické smrti rodičů hřbitov a vychovali ho duchové, vlkodlaci a jiné příšery spolu s jeho strážným andělem Silasem, který nepatří ani do světa živých, ani mezi mrtvé. Jirka s kamarádkou En a bratrancem Tondou se pouští do hry o čas s všehoschopnými pronásledovateli.
