När Ramona fyllde åtta år började faderns bäste vän, ryssen Vasilij, utsätta henne upprepade gånger för sexuella övergrepp och än idag är det ett frågetecken hur detta kunde ske, då fadern alltid var hemma när det hände. Det här är en rak och tuff berättelse om utanförskapet i dåtidens Sverige, och dessvärre har det fortfarande i mångt och mycket inte förbättrats för barn till föräldrar som flyr krigets fasor.
