Roma, agosto 2018: una donna di origini tedesche viene arrestata per spaccio internazionale di stupefacenti. Si chiama Alice. Den 28 juli år 1997 förändras familjen Jasharajs liv för all framtid. Det är dagen då Florije ser sin sexåriga dotter för sista gången.
