Author of the critically acclaimed young adult fantasy series Half Life, Sally Green’s work has been likened to George Orwell but with witches. After winning the Teen category of the Waterstone’s Children’s Books prize in 2015, Sally has embarked on a brand-new epic fantasy series titled The Smoke Thieves, the first of which published in May 2018.

Regarded as one of the finest journalists of her generation, Mamie Baird Magnusson's whole life was a celebration of words - words that she fought to retain in the grip of a disease which is fast becoming the scourge of the 21st century. Her new memoir, In Pieces, was published in September 2018.
