Naturalist Joe Hutto’s latest adventures in wildlife observation take him to Wyoming’s Wind River Mountains. Published in 1789 they were received with favour, not only by the general public, but by other poets such as Coleridge and Wordsworth. James Smithson is best known as the founder of the Smithsonian Institution, but few people know his full and fascinating story.
