Counting sheep: With this simple method, children and adults alike can find their way to sleep. The task is constant - monotonous - and tiresome: keep on counting sheep. With this method you can distract yourself from other thoughts that normally prevent you from falling asleep. So, keep counting sheep until you find a monotonous rhythm. It is also helpful to imagine the sheep. This will stimulate your imagination and your concentration will be solely on this inner image.
