Dominik Weiß ist auf grausame Art zu Tode gekommen. Wie es aussieht, ist der Mörder mehrfach zwischen dem Toten und der Wand hin- und hergelaufen, um seine Fingerspitzen in Blut zu tauchen. Dann hat er sie über die geweißte Strukturtapete geführt, um sich dort zu verewigen. Zu Beginn der Ermittlungen ahnt Kriminalhauptkommissar Niklas Steg noch nicht, dass dieser Mord der Auftakt zu einer ganzen Serie ist.

The first crime scene was the most disturbing. From the looks of it, the killer had dipped their fingers in the victim's blood and used it to write in dark red on the white wallpaper. Although the letters were smeared and uneven, Detective Niklas Steg had no trouble making out the message: "Reap the storm."
