Seit einiger Zeit sträubt sich etwas in mir gegen alle gebundene Rede, und wie ich höre, regt sich bei manchen Zeitgenossen eine ähnliche Abneigung. Es will mich bedünken, als sei in schönen Versen allzu viel gelogen worden, und die Wahrheit scheue sich, in metrischen Gewanden zu erscheinen. – Heinrich Heine.
