But as Gary soon learned, this gift could also be a curse, costing anyone who got too close their life. Now, he’s trying to figure out how to use his system to make things better for those around him.

The System just keeps throwing new experiences at our MC and his friends. For example, our antisocial lone-wolf hero Kasp was awarded the title of Head of the Settlement by the System. However, he has no intentions of being a leader.

Mark and the ones he loves are forced to explore an abandoned space resort until a connection is made that opens an alternate path. With the help of his Enthralled, he finally steps out of his ChronoMind immersion rig and back into the real world. The battlefield becomes much wider as Mark, Ahnix, Vale, and Roo must make new friends and face dangerous enemies across both digital and post-apocalyptic landscapes before they can hope to find the peace they deserve.

I was there when the Gaia System was first born. The changes were more than anyone could have dreamed of: magical powers, a stronger body, and a call to adventure. It should have been a paradise; gifted the ability to combine spells with my Meta Bracer, I should have had an easy climb to the top. A mysterious, abhorrent entity is making him an offer he can't refuse, and the undead are getting organized.

After Jebediah Trapper completed the Impossible Tutorial (by cheating), the vet's been in something of a slump. His PTSD is gradually guiding him down the path of self-harm. Crippled, stripped of his power, and homeless, he's got no reason to keep breathing. Until a little girl is in trouble.
