While fishing about space, Small Clanger catches a floating teapot in his music boat. Having never seen a teapot, the Clangers attempt to discover the peculiar object's purpose. Small Clanger proposes it to be a soup jug to carry their soup from the soup wells, so he puts his idea to the test. After filling up the pot with delightfully delicious green soup, Small Clanger takes it back to the house. Out of curiosity, he decides to blow through the spout of the pot, spraying soup out of the top, making a dreadful mess.
