Having teleported halfway across the continent, we've finally escaped Ivicka's notice and are free to do something about getting home to Earth. Except none of our options are exactly simple. My attention may be getting slightly diverted by a certain K'tharn. But only a little. It's not my fault Rufka has style, grace, and humor to match. Even as Rufka goes to the Aetherium's capital to rescue her mum, we head to Glimmering Sands. A totally normal resort town, other than the fact it's on an alien planet and is run by a bunch of giant squids known as the M'tari.

We're finally scouting out the great Sanctuary cities, magical spaceships big enough to host a dozen New Yorks. We just have to figure out how to turn them on, and we might have a way to save the people of Earth. On top of that, we're ready to hit the world dungeon to kick our power up to the next tier. All in all, things are going great. So, of course, the M'tari declare war on the Aetherium's great sky city, Aethire—the same Aethire that has the world dungeon.

The Apocalypse is on its way to Earth. I don't have time to care. Ironic since I have the ability to stop time, I suppose. Having escaped capture by Ivicka and her dragon, I've barely had time to get used to my new class before the rules change again. Apparently, undead catgirls here can throw bolts of lightning and levitate chunks of earth the size of my mom's old Toyota. They're not even part of the official training dungeon! Still, who hasn't had to annihilate a few undead catgirls on occasion?
