Brother Daniel has been a faithful member of Crossroads Baptist Church since 1999. Licensed to The Gospel ministry in 2000, he has served in various positions of leadership thru the years including Teacher and was ordained by the brethren in 2007 as an Elder for the church. He received his Master of Divinity in 2010 from Emmanuel Theological Seminary where he now serves on the board. He lives in Monroe, N.C., married to Mrs. Carrie since 2000, with three children.

Dr Mack served as the Chief Elder of our fellowship until his passing in 2015. Our Lord used him to found our churches and many of the existing ministries including Emmanuel Theological Seminary. The wisdom and insight our Lord gave to him, for us, will live forever in the hearts of his people. Though the servant must pass, The Gospel is alive and well!

Brother Adam is a life-long member of Crossroads Baptist Church. He was called by our Lord to the Gospel ministry in 2015 then completed his Bachelor’s degree in Christian Education from Emmanuel Theological Seminary where he now serves on the board. Being licensed to The Gospel ministry in April of 2017 and ordained as an Elder for the church in December 2017; he currently serves as Associate Pastor. Mrs. Audrie, a full-time ministry employee herself, became his bride in 2014.

"For 12 years I thought I was destined to be a Country Music star -I thought Country Music mattered. I was gonna impress the world with my songwriting abilities, drink, smoke dope, and pick up pay checks from the mailbox. In 1997 I learned that one Gospel song that blesses one of The Lord's people one time -is more valuable than every Country song ever written. Jesus Christ gave His blood for His people; it's my honor & duty to write for Him -& for them: Because It Matters."

Pastor Chuck was called to The Gospel ministry in July 1997, has served as Elder and Pastor of Crossroads Baptist Church and it's various ministries since November 1998, and received the doctorate of Religious Education in 2002. Mrs. Penny kindly married him in 2001. They have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.

Suffering is an art that can be perfected using the proper skill set. This 20 lesson study of the book of 1st Peter examines 75 "Suffering Skills" -it teaches us "how to" suffer well. Suffering is an avenue to the beautiful life Jesus Christ planned for each of His children. Suffering is necessary to grow us into mature Christians. Suffering at the hands of other also teaches us how we tend to treat The Lord. The cause of suffering is sin -either someone else's or our own & our question should always be, "Lord, how can this make me more like You?".

A brief introduction into the process in which a preacher uses, through study and constant prayer, to prepare the message The Lord Has for His people. With this process the preacher understands that the message to be delivered is the most important thing at hand because Jesus and His people are the most important thing at hand.
