Years ago, the Academy bore witness to a gruesome tragedy. Macie's sister, the valiant Jocelyn Graves, was cruelly taken from the world when she was pushed from the school's roof by a malevolent shadow entity. This spectral figure is known as Oliver. He is an ancient, terrifying entity known as one of the October People. Steeped in Native American folklore, these spectral beings return to the Gulf Coast each October, for a brief, deadly three-day stint. Their singular aim?
