They are bound from San Francisco for waters off the coast of Malaysia where a treasure just might be found, if they survive an encounter with the monstrous Pirate Shark. Harry Lincoln Sayler was a newspaperman and popular youth fiction novelist. He authored several book series using a variety of pseudonyms. Sir Richard Owen coined the term "dinosaur" ("Terrible Reptile" or "Fearfully Great Reptile") in the 19th century. When Harry G. Seeley, a student of law at that time, attended a lecture on flying reptiles, his interest in paleontology was piqued, and he pursued paleontology for the remainder of his life.
