When young journalist Thomas Cleary is sent to dig up quotes for the obituary of a legendary film producer, the man's eccentric daughter offers him entrée into the exclusive upper echelons of Hollywood society. A small-town boy with working-class roots, Thomas is a stranger in this opulent world of private jets and sprawling mansions. Then he meets Matilda Duplaine. At the heart of Audible's partnership with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) is the involvement of LAMDA students in the creative process of making new audio dramas especially for young people. Three original audio dramas were commissioned from some of the UK’s most exciting emerging writers. The dramas were workshopped with LAMDA students and these final productions were recorded by graduating third years, working alongside talented industry directors.
