Two young children time travel to see their family castle at various periods in English history - some in glory, some in wreckage, as their family just escaped from running a B&B. They come back to the castle seeking the hidden treasure which will let them bring it back to its old glory, thanks to the magical Mouldiwarp white mole that transforms them, along with the assistance of a witch they befriended unknowingly with a kindness.

A young girl, Rella Deveraux-PenSword, is called to protect and defend Hleo: an enchanted refuge for the children of Earth One. Rella must stop a plague of Shadowsplitters, the miscreations of the plagiarist Archimago, from destroying the Wondercurrent: a source of life and hope for all the children under Hleo's protection. Then, a few years later, when her father goes missing, Rella is forced to flee her home in the rural village of Ensea.

Arcade, Zoe, and their new friend, Doug, are traveling from New York to Virginia to stay with their cousins and best friends, Derek and Celeste. It's a chance for Arcade to feel normal again after his latest series of adventures. But nothing is normal as long as the Triple T Token is hanging around his neck. Plus, Derek claims he's stumbled upon some troubling information, and now a suspicious person is following him. Arcade wonders if the trouble is related to the token - after all, someone has already tried to take it from him once.
