The huge, octopus-like Kroll lives deep in the swamps of the humid, steamy planet Delta Three. To the native swamp-warriors, Kroll is an angry mythical god. To the money-grabbing alien technicians, it is a threat to their profit-making scheme. When the Doctor and Romana arrive, in search of another segment of the Key to Time, they have to face the suspicion of the lagoon dwellers, the stupidity of the technicians and, finally, the power of Kroll itself.

Following an encounter with the Cybermen, the Doctor's life appears to hang in the balance—until, before the eyes of his companions Ben and Polly, his physical appearance is transformed! Disoriented after his regeneration, the Doctor takes the TARDIS to the Earth colony planet Vulcan. Ben and Polly are disturbed—the Doctor isn't the man he used to be. The Doctor is also worried; the colonists have found the remains of two Daleks, which they plan to revive!

Rueben saved New York City and almost got the girl. Given where he started, Rueben should have peaked right here and now. Or at the very least got a vacation. Except there's another warper in town, and he has it out for Rueben and his friends. The World Summit will see the largest gathering of world leaders in one spot. The perfect opportunity for this new warper to cause world instability. One deadly drone per leader...the perfect plan to wipe out all global leadership in one fell swoop. What's more, this diabolical mastermind has figured out a way to stop Rueben's "repeating" powers.

Time travel doesn't actually solve problems. It just makes them more complex…...
