Julius Robert Oppenheimer (April 22, 1904-February 18, 1967) was an American theoretical physicist and director of the Los Alamos Laboratory during World War II. He is often credited as the "father of the atomic bomb" for his role in organizing the Manhattan Project, the research and development undertaking that created the first nuclear weapons.

Yuri Bezmenov (1939-January 5, 1993), was a Soviet journalist for RIA Novosti and a former KGB informant who defected to Canada. After being assigned to a station in India, Bezmenov eventually grew to love the people and the culture of India. At the same time, he began to resent the KGB-sanctioned repression of intellectuals who dissented from Moscow's policies and he decided to defect to the West. Bezmenov is best remembered for his anti-communist lectures and books published in the 1980s under the alias of Tomas David Schuman.

He states that the Americans should not be asked to fight in foreign countries, but to focus on defense of the United States. Among other things, Lindbergh says: "The doctrine that we must enter the wars of Europe, in order to defend America, will be fatal to our Nation, if we follow it. When men are called upon to fight, and to die, for their country, there must not be even the remotest question of foreign influence involved."

As a 25-year old US Air Mail pilot, Charles Lindbergh emerged from virtual obscurity to instantaneous world fame as the result of his Ortieg Prize-winning solo nonstop flight on May 20 and 21, 1927. Colonel David Haskell Hackworth (November 11, 1930 - May 4, 2005) was a United States Army officer and journalist, who was highly decorated in both the Korean War and Vietnam War. Hackworth is known for his role in the formation and command of Tiger Force, a military unit from the 101st Airborne Division that used guerrilla warfare tactics against Viet Cong in South Vietnam. Hackworth was described by General Creighton Abrams, who commanded all US military operations from 1968 to 1972 in Vietnam, as "the best battalion commander I ever saw in the United States Army."
