It’s the dog days of summer, and Winterspell is going through town psychics faster than a werewolf sheds its fur after a full moon. And let’s hope we don’t have one of those on our tail. I’m supposed to be planning my wedding, but when a good deed leads me to the scene of a murder, my priorities take a sudden detour.

As the caretaker of Selene, my ancient feline familiar, I’ve grown accustomed to dealing with her mood swings. But as Christmas approaches, Selene’s temperament gives Ebenezer Scrooge a run for his money, and it’s going to take my full effort to keep her off the naughty list.

Aunt Lavender is gearing up for the quest of a lifetime, while I’m settling into life in my newly renovated home and dreaming of long summer days spent on the lake. However, with the appearance of two old rivals in Winterspell and a harrowing premonition, our dreams fall into jeopardy. Selene has to prove herself right (naturally…), and before I know it, I’m chasing her furry behind smack dab into the middle of a cutthroat world of scheming adventure-seekers, who will do anything for their next big thrill. Let’s just hope she has an escape plan.
