Na rynku pewnego miasta spadł pierwszy śnieg. Ucieszone dzieci wyszły na ulicę i ulepiły z białego puchu bałwany. Powstał Pan Bałwan i Pani Bałwanowa. Oprócz nich na rynku pojawił się też mały Kacperek. Nie wyglądał jak inne bałwany, pomimo tego, że był okrągły. W przeciwieństwie do innych bałwanów był cały żółto-pomarańczowy! Państwo Bałwanowie stwierdzili, że Kacperek nie może być ich synkiem i kazali mu odejść. Smutny i osierocony bałwanek toczył się po mieście aż spotkał sprytną Mysz Malwinę.
