When old-world dangers threaten a race of fruit bat hybrids, where can they run to? New York City, of course! And that's where we meet the Livingstone kids - Lexie, Hudson, and Maddy - trying to blend their "vampireness" with the regular people of the city. Unfortunately, their vampire traits keep complicating things. Lexie's super speed, amazing strength, and poetry-quoting habit embarrass her in front of classmates - and her secret crush. Hudson can fly and is determined to save the planet, but he doesn't quite fit in.

Adze prey on the blood of innocents, possessing their minds and turning them into hulking monsters, and for generations, slayers like Serwa and her parents have protected an unknowing public from their threats.

Kevin Aurelius is just like any other almost eleven-year-old. Well, apart from his fangs obviously. And that he's immortal. Oh and did I mention he's a vampire? Together with his vampire parents and annoying older siblings, Kevin's on his way to Monstros City when, due to dodgy batnav, they get stranded in a strange, quiet place full of humans called Lower Drudging. With empty coffers in need of filling, their only choice is to put on an impromptu carnival to earn the gold they need to get back on their way. But Lower Drudging has a monstrous secret of its own.

Rudolph the little vampire has been banished from his family's vault over his association with humans. He now lives in the basement of the apartment building where his human best friend Tony lives. The two struggle to keep Rudolph hidden from Tony's parents and nosy neighbors. When someone gets suspicious about activity in the basement, can the friends avoid discovery?

Und da Vampire mit menschlichen Gewohnheiten nun mal nicht sehr vertraut sind, geht dabei so einiges drunter und drüber. Schließlich verliebt sich auch noch der Tanzlehrer Schwanenhals in Tante Dorothee – ohne zu ahnen, in welcher Gefahr er schwebt.

Tanz der Vampire auf der Klassenfahrt. Anton ist auf Klassenfahrt. Damit es nicht zu langweilig wird, kommen ihn Anna und Rüdiger besuchen. Am letzten Abend der Fahrt gibt es eine Party, ausgerechnet einen verrückten Vampirabend. Wenn die Lehrer wüssten, was sie damit anzetteln! Tante Dorothees Beziehung zu dem geheimnisvollen Vampir wird immer enger und schließlich schlägt sie dem Familienrat sogar vor, Igno von Rant in die Gruft aufzunehmen. Doch Anton ist wachsam.

Anton ist einsam, denn der kleine Vampir ist mit seiner Familie in die Heimat aller Vampire nach Transsylvanien zurückgekehrt. Aber dann gelingt es Anton, seine Eltern zu einem Sommerurlaub in Rumänien zu überreden. Dort trifft er nicht nur seine Freunde wieder, sondern auch den berühmtesten und gefährlichsten aller Vampire: Graf Dracula persönlich! After a perilous train ride, Rudolph joins Tony in the countryside where his family is enjoying a taste of life on a farm. They spend the week hiding from Tony's parents, exploring old farm buildings under the full moon, and even getting chased by a bull! But will their sneaking around be enough to keep Rudolph from discovery?
