Beim überstürzten Abzug der Deutschen aus Afghanistan braucht Klaus Gudwin die Hilfe seines Widersachers Manfred Mor. Sie erkennt in Annas Verfolger den Pakistani Masut, der sein Asyl Klaus Gudwin, Annas verschollenem Vater, zu verdanken hat.
