In Charm Cove, Maine, spring means blooming flowers, thawed snow, and just a hint of everyday magic. Moira Wicked is embracing it all—her powers, her future, and her recent engagement to Liam. Life is finally settling down. Until it starts raining daisies. One minute, the town looks like a picture-perfect coastal getaway. The next, it's drowning in daisies—falling from the sky, sprouting from rooftops, carpeting lawns, and turning every surface into a floral explosion. Pretty? Sure. Magical menace? Definitely.

Nothing is ever as it seems, at least not in Charm Cove, Maine. Moira Wicked moves away in the hopes she can escape her fate, or destiny, or something along those lines. She yearns to lead a normal life. A few years away teaches her one glaring lesson. It's incredibly difficult to be normal when your first name means destiny, your last name is Wicked, and you do come from a family legendary for its witchy ways.

Deep in the heart of winter, all is quiet in Charm Cove. Or so Moira Wicked likes to think. The charming town in Maine is blanketed with snow, and magic is murmuring under the surface, but nothing is amiss. Until it's time for maple sugaring season. One of the earliest signs of spring is when the maple trees are ready to tap for sap, which becomes maple sugar, and syrup, and more. Once the first few trees are tapped, Charm Cove residents start reporting missing buckets of maple sap. At first, it's only a few and then it's almost all of them.
