No one knows when the day of Judgement will occur - not even Archibald Alexander. He foretells this day as a day of miracles, where all the lives of the past and ancient patriachs will stand present. And for those who pass judgement of Jesus Christ, their future will be in heaven.

Archibald Alexander (1772-1851) was a Presbyterian theologian and professor at the Princeton Theological Seminary. He argued that the decisive argument for the perpetual obligation of the Sabbath is the fourth commandment. He claimed that it was an eternal law in the same league as the moral precepts.

In the tumultuous days of the Reformation, the centerpiece of Luther’s ministry was his bold biblical preaching. Martin Luther, the reformer, theologian, author and polemicist is well known as hymn-writer, musician, teacher, and pastor to both clergy and laity. However, Luther saw himself as a preacher first. On religious holidays, he preached twice a day. The sermon "Day of St. John the Evangelist" is based on John 21:19-24, about Christ’s imminent death. At that time, Jesus reprimanded Peter for doing everything but that which he was supposed to do.
