मृत्यु के बाद क्या होता है, इससे कहीं अधिक सार्थकता एवं प्रासंगिकता इस तथ्य की है कि मृत्यु से पहले के तमामा वर्ष हमने कैसे जिये हैं। मन-मस्तिष्क में समाये अतीत के समस्त संग्रहों, दुख-सुख के अनुभवों, घावों, आशाओं-निराशाओं और कुंठाओं के प्रति पूर्ण रूप से मरे बगैर हम जीवन को तभी ताज़ी-नूतन आँखों से नहीं देख सकते। मरना कोई दूर भविष्य में होने वाली डरावनी घटना न होकर इस क्षण होने वाली नवीनीकरण की प्रक्रिया है। जीवन और मृत्यु की विभाजक रेखा को ध्वस्त करती यह थीमबुक जे. कृष्णमूर्ति के अप्रीतम वचनों का एक अपूर्व संकलन है।
