So viel Aufregung im sonst allzu beschaulichen Burglbach im Allgäu, das ist für Walli Schimmel eine willkommene Abwechslung. Also stürzt sich die exzentrische Rentnerin in die Ermittlungen - sehr zum Missfallen von Wolfi, ihrem leicht phlegmatischen Polizistensohn. Der glaubt nämlich zunächst an einen ganz natürlichen Tod: zu viel Schweinshaxe, zu wenig Bewegung. Doch Walli bleibt hartnäckig und stößt bald schon auf eine Spur.
