I'm a White man who was raised a Mennonite in a 70's commune in a Black neighborhood bordering Chicago's northside. I went on to have an ex-Black Panther, genius, and criminal mastermind as a mentor who taught me martial arts, philosophy and true magic before nearly killing me. I share my story and the worldview it informs.
