Running into Lyric Taylor again was a stroke of luck, a second chance at fate. It also brought back the reality of the situation I put us in all those years ago when we were kids. I left when my world came crashing down. Instead of letting her know what was going on, I chose to run and leave her behind, breaking both of our hearts in the worst way possible.
