A collection of short stories by Sean Dietrich, (also known as "Sean of the South") a writer, humorist, and novelist, known for his commentary on life in the American South. His humor, columns, and short stories appear in various publications throughout the Southeast.

Librarian Janet Johnson is puzzled when she is invited - and practically dragged - to her first meeting of the Rejected Writers' Book Club. The program has been funded by Rex Schoeninger, the world’s richest novelist, who is dying. Buzzards are circling, angling for the remains of Rex’s fortune, and Frankie quickly realizes that he has been presented with the opportunity of a lifetime.
