Die rasante Story rankt sich um die Studentin Martha, die ihren Freund Simon sehr vermisst, weil er sein Studium in Riga absolviert, sodass sich die beiden nur sehr selten sehen konnten. Durch ein fatales Telefonat der beiden macht Martha einen Fehler beim Hochladen ihrer Master-Arbeit und muss nun um ihre berufliche Zukunft bangen. Ihre eigentlich geplante Reise nach Riga wird durch weitere Katastrophen quasi unmöglich und schließlich erhält Martha Grund zu der Annahme, dass Simon alles sabotiert, weil er in Riga eine andere Frau gefunden hat.
