När Samir och hans familj får veta att de inte får stanna i Sverige och kommer att tvingas återvända till Afghanistan fattar han ett drastiskt beslut. De kan inte skicka tillbaka honom om de inte vet var han finns ... Mitt i natten rymmer han och gömmer sig ute i skogen, men livet på flykt är tufft och han kommer att behöva vänner om han ska klara sig.

Malou is not allowed in the boys’ hideout. They think she smells. Kara thinks the boys are really mean. But what should she do?

Julie invites the class to her birthday party. They are going to the pool. Afterwards, they are having pizza. Rose asks if there is anything other than pizza, because she does not want to eat unhealthy food. Kara does not understand. Rose loves pizza. And she is so skinny. And if skinny Rose thinks she is fat, is Kara fat too?

Kara is going to do a play at the club. She has never tried being on a stage before, but she is excited. Julie is too. Maybe a bit more than Kara, because she is sure she is going to get the lead role. But maybe Kara wants the lead role too.

Kara is going on a school trip. She is looking forward to it. But Rose cries on the bus. Maybe she feels homesick? Kara wants to comfort her, but she forgets it because so much fun stuff is happening. And then, during the treasure hunt, Rose suddenly disappears.

Kara and her class are having a sleepover at the school. They are all looking forward to it. Julie brought a game called "The spirit in the glass." She says it can help you talk to ghosts. Rose and Malou think it is too scary, and when the thunder starts rumbling, Kara does not know if she finds it funny anymore, either.

Kara is going to a new club. She is looking forward to it, but it is also difficult suddenly being one of the younger kids. Especially when there are so many big boys. But Frej from the fifth grade is cool. He is a skater. Kara wants to try, but when she finds a skateboard everything goes wrong. What is Frej going to think of her?

Kara and her class play a new game on their iPads. It is funny and exciting to see everyone yell and curse, if something bad happens in the game. But it is just a joke. Or is it? Kara does not know, and it makes her feel weird.

Kara and her friends are playing truth or dare in the pillow room with the boys. Kara wants to kiss Lukas. But not with the tongue, like Julie does. Suddenly, Big-Anders wants to join the game... But Kara does not want him to.

A new girl is starting in Kara’s class: Gabriella. She is sweet and popular. Everyone thinks so, except for Kara. She actually thinks Gabriella is annoying and mean. Kara avoids Gabriella, but it is not fun, because suddenly Kara feels like an outsider. What can she do?

Rose and Julie are having a sleepover at Malou’s. Kara cannot go, because she is sick. She cannot go sledding either. And when she gets well, the snow is gone. Can she sleep over at Malou’s now?

Kara and her friends thinks putting on makeup is fun, even though it isn't something they are really allowed to do. But it makes you feel a little grown-up, which is exciting.

The boys are playing war, and Kara wants to play too. But she has promised Julie that they were going to play hairdressers. It is boring. Kara cannot sit still. Finally, she just leaves to make a weapon. And Julie is very mad at her.

Kara loves drawing and she's good at it too. But when she starts taking drawing classes with people who are very good at drawing, she suddenly loses her confidence. In fact, she doesn't think drawing is fun anymore.
