Alexander Blix, Kriminalhauptkommissar, sitzt in Haft. Einige Wochen später wird auch Jan zum Watt gerufen, da eine weibliche Leiche gefunden wurde. In ihrer Hosentasche entdeckt er ein durchweichtes Foto – und das zeigt ausgerechnet das von Tamme gefundene Schwert.

Der Mann war davon überzeugt, dass irgendjemand es mit einem magischen Fluch auf ihn abgesehen hatte – und er hatte recht! Das konnte doch nur etwas mit den Vampiren zu tun haben, die an seinem Filmset auftauchten.

Die einzige Verbündete gegen seine neuen Feinde ist die kluge Journalistin Robin Bukowsky. Aber kann er ihr wirklich trauen? Vieles scheint dagegen zu sprechen.
