Bud and Lou set out for their safari and will meet Skinny and Marilyn at the lodge later. But first, let the jokes about hunting reign. Marilyn pops in to help with the jokes, then Lou runs into the Game Warden. He has a special job for Lou - capture the lion that has been roaming the woods. Marilyn sings, "Blue Skies".The big moment arrives, and Lou has the lion trapped in a cave. When his bravery pays off, there’s a big musical finale to end the show.

Fifteen children later, Uncle Mike is contemplating moving out of the house, but Lou knows he'll never go through with it. Bud and Lou reminisce about all the different jobs Uncle MIke has had over the years. Later, Lou and Veola rehearse lines from their new movie.

Lou comes in singing and banging something. Lou had a birthday party for Aunt May last night. Bud says tomorrow is April Fools' Day. Bud wants Sam to help capture Ingrid the international spy.

Lou talks like he is Irish because it's St. Patrick's Day. They talk about presents they gave on St. Patrick's Day. Lou was on a quiz show. They talk about going to a dog show.

Abbott and Costello talk about Uncle Tom in Egypt. Then they talk about Costello's brother Pat. They talk about President Truman. Lou wants a date with Veola Vonn. Veola wants a date with Burt Lancaster. Hal Winters sings.

Lou tells Bud he spent the afternoon at the movies - sat through the same one 15 times because he couldn't remember where he had come in. Lou's nephew Norman shows up for some jokes. Lou tries to convince Veola to marry him.

Lou had to take Uncle Mike to the rest home. Lou had a date with Veola Von. Bud wants to borrow money from Lou. Lou was an honor student.
