Nachts verliert sie sich in Büchern – dort, wo Menschen über sich hinauswachsen und geliebt werden, wie sie sind. In ihrer Realität hat Teresa sich selbst aufgegeben. Sie führt eine Beziehung, die sie klein hält, ohne dass sie es merkt. Ihr Leben ist eng, ihre Wünsche leise, ihre Grenzen verschwommen. Doch dann geschehen Dinge, die sie nicht ignorieren kann. Unerwartete Impulse reißen sie aus ihrer Routine, lassen sie innehalten, hinsehen, hinterfragen.
