He's a better-than-a-Boy-Scout, trauma surgeon extraordinaire. Who just punched a patient in the nose. She's the director of the ER. And is now in charge of keeping her star surgeon in line until his suspension is over. First order of business is prying his perfect ass off the bar stool...and keeping her huge crush on him under control. In spite of his one-night-only rule with women. But hey, there's nothing wrong with making the best of being temporarily stuck together, is there? Because the key word is still temporarily.  

She's his dream girl. Except for the fact that she's way too young for him. And way too sweet. And his best friend's little sister. He's everything she's ever wanted. Except for the fact that he's convinced they're totally wrong for each other. And the stubborn-as-hell thing. And the her-brother-will-kill-them part. But then she discovers cotton candy-flavored body powder, pink fur wedges, and nipples clamps, and everything changes. Well, except the her-brother-will-kill-them part.

She needs a date to some swanky something or other. He's more of a fish-sticks-and-denim guy. But for a woman who's not afraid to get naughty in an elevator at a charity fundraiser, he can stand a couple days of smoked salmon and Armani. With their chemistry, there's no doubt they can pull off a fake relationship. They just need to remember that in the end, they're going in very opposite directions. But what could go wrong? It's just a weekend. It's just this one time. It's just for fun.  

He's just found out that he's been designated the guardian for a half-brother he never knew existed. And that's not even the craziest thing about this night. The annulment he thought he got 12 years ago? Yeah, that never went through.
